Power Immune – Boosting Protein and Greens

1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
1 scoop unsweetened protein powder
1 cup chopped kale
1 small avocado
2 Medjool dates
1⁄2 cup ice

Directions Add all ingredients to the blender and mix on high until smooth.

Creamy Peachy Ginger Cashew Health Boost

1⁄4 cup raw cashews
1 cup plant-based milk, like almond or oat milk
1 cup frozen peaches, or two canned peach halves
1 Tbsp ginger juice, or 1⁄4 tsp dried ground ginger
1 Tbsp ginger juice, or 1⁄4 tsp dried ground ginger

Directions Pulse cashews and plant- based milk for 15 seconds. Blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed in.

Super Savory Vitamin C Mix Up

1 cup unsweetened kefir
1 kiwi, peeled
1⁄2 cup sliced strawberries
1⁄2 cup diced pineapple (fresh or canned)
Handful of fresh basil leaves
Juice of one lemon
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 cup of ice Honey (optional)

Directions Blend all ingredients on high until smooth and creamy. This recipe is more tart and savory than sweet. Add a Tbsp of honey if desired for a little sweetness.

Dark Chocolate Blueberry Immunity Boost

1 cup unsweetened kefir
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 Tbsp unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Medjool dates
1⁄2 cup ice

Directions Blend all ingredients on high until mixed well. Texture should be thick and creamy.

Creamy Orange Restorative Smoothie

1 banana, previously peeled, sliced and frozen
1 cup Greek vanilla flavored yogurt
1 orange, peel intact
1⁄2 cup orange juice
1⁄2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp vanilla
1⁄2 cup ice (optional)

Directions Using a grater or citrus zester, remove and reserve 1 Tbsp of orange zest before peeling orange. Peel and segment orange. Blend banana, yogurt, orange, orange juice, turmeric, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Taste, and if desired, add additional tsp of vanilla and 1⁄2 cup ice. Blend until well mixed and creamy.
