Delicious Salmon Recipe
Including more omega-3-rich fish in the diet can help lower both cholesterol and triglycerides.
Gingered Wild Salmon with Honey and Basil
1 salmon filet, skin removed and sliced into 4 equal portions
2 tsp stone ground mustard Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp honey1 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Place salmon in a medium baking dish. In a small bowl, combine marinade ingredients, stirring well to combine. Coat fish with marinade, and refrigerate for an hour before baking. Preheat oven to 350°F, set to convection roast if you have convection setting. Uncover fish, and bake for about 20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F. Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
